The Furever Home Adoption Center opened in October 2010 with a mission to relieve the suffering of homeless animals. Furever Home is a no-kill, cage-free facility in Lancaster county. Our building is only zoned to house cats, however we work with local dog rescues to help all animals in our community, including counseling families that are looking to rehome their dogs.
Our comfortable homelike facility is a cage-free environment, where cats are free to run and play.
Because of this freedom, we are able to see and assess an animal's true personality, which assists in finding the perfect furever homes.
We are committed to saving as many lives in our county
as possible and one of our newest initiatives in 2017 involves sharing our amazing cage-free facility with other like-minded rescues that share our standards of excellence. As of October 1, we will begin partnering with the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County to feature cats looking for furever homes. We believe that by working together for the common good of animals, we can save more lives and we are excited to become a satellite adoption location for the Pet Pantry.
