CATS IN THE CLASSROOM
TEACHERS: We believe that children and pets have a special relationship. Our "Cats in the Classroom" Program encourages kids to participate in the care of our animals. By accepting a "Penny for Pets" jar into their classroom, the class can work together to raise money to help pay for the costs of housing and feeding a cat. They get to "adopt" one cat and follow its progress from incoming through adoption. Then they are notified when the cat finds its "Furever Home".
Landisville Intermediate Center principal Rick Bentley presents a donation to students in Linda Azaroff's 4th grade class. L.I.C. raised $550 for us in a Cats in the Classroom campaign!
Your $50 support of an animal will make a huge difference in the life of the animal you have chosen to sponsor.
Each animal that you support has been recued from a life on the streets, or from a situation where it was unwanted or abandoned. Saving it from a life of hardship or potential euthanasia in a shelter means that you have partnered with us to protect this animal in a safe environment until the day it is placed in its Furever Home!
Here's how your sponsorship works:
-Upon receipt of your $50 sponsorship donation, you will be contacted and asked to choose a name for one of our "Unsponsored Animals".
(Names must be tasteful and meet the standards of our adoption center.)
-Your name will appear under the picture of your animal on the website's "Sponsored Animals" page.
-You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you have made difference in the life of your sponsored animal.
*Due to privacy issues, we will not be able to release the name of the person adopting your sponsored animal.
